I don't often go on library sites because of one reason or an other. However I have, of ocation gone to these sites.
Werribee Plaza Library: http://www.wyndham.vic.gov.au/residents/culture/library/welcome
This one I like because the library is near my house. Also, I'm interested in their Manga Drawing Club that's on on Tuesdays 4-6pm. Unfortunatly I was working yesterday so I couldn't go. : ( . I found out about the Manga Drawing Club through the website while I was looking for something else. The only problem is that it's a small library so it doesn't always have what you want or need. But it's conviniant.
Next is Victoria State Library: http://www.slv.vic.gov.au/
I've gone here on rare ocation through school or my perants. But every time I'm amazed at how big the place is and at all the exhibits it has. I don't get to go often because it's in the City. The site helps you keep track of what's on and for how long. The site is helpful for my school work with finding different books ISBN and details. The only problem is the amount of books you have to go through to find it. It does have every book published in Victoria in it.
Next is the National Gallery of Victoria: http://www.ngv.vic.gov.au/
This is the coolest art gallery. My family has a tradition that when ever we're in the city we must go to the Gallery at least for a quick look. Most reasently they have a new exhibition for the famous painter Monet (pronounsed 'Mon-A') called Monet's Garden. The paintings are beautiful! : D. This site is useful for the same reason as the preavious one. But is so difficult to find things on it sometimes because there's so much there.
Next is the school library at: http://www.vu.edu.au/library
Naturaly I'd need this website for my course. I mostly use it to find books to use in exersices and for finding books if I need to do a book report and I'm only going to use the book that once. I just look it up of the site's search engine and pick it up on my way home.
And, finally, Libraries Australia at: http://librariesaustralia.nla.gov.au
This website I have use quite a few times during my studies. It lets you look up books and see what libraries have that book across Australia. You just need to trudge through pages of different editions and publications, though.
